Exactly. I mean, I know this doesn't exactly alway apply (Chino from the Deftones for example), but look at some of the more techy stuff. Some may be considered wankery or cheesy as fuck, but think about Dream Theater, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert, Meshugga, I was going to say Dragonforce, but that only really applies to their studio stuff

Also, not worth it's own thread, but Testament have a new song on their myspazz. They have better songs, but it's still pretty cool. I assume this also means the album is done, if not very close
