Manson and Slayer touring together

Postby Vision on Wed Mar 28, 2007 1:29 am

SLAYER and MARILYN MANSON have announced that they will co-headline a North American major-market summer tour beginning on July 25 on the East Coast. Plans are for the tour to play some twenty-five cities and wrap up early September on the West Coast. A full, confirmed schedule will be announced shortly. MANSON and SLAYER will each play full sets, and two support bands, yet to be determined, will open all shows.

What a stupid decision putting a thrash band with Manson.

Yeah, but even this is odd. They've toured with the likes of Slipknot and Lamb of God, but you could at least argue that those bands share common ground with Slayer (i.e. they're fast/heavy). Marilyn Manson are a rock band.

Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

Good quote on the Blabbermouth site:

I hope Manson headlines so I can leave after Slayer.

Manson needs a career boost, and Slayer are sell outs, the only reason why they're paired together is so they can make more money...

Whatever, if I was Slayer I'd definitely being cashing in as much as they are. As far as I'm concerned they can do whatever the fuck they want because they wrote Reign in Blood.

I don't really like Slayer as they are now and it goes without saying that Marilyn Manson fukking sucks! I only really bother with Slayer's first five albums to be honest!

Like your tits btw! :rockdevil:

Well there's the odd song later on thats really good. I like 'Stain of Mind' for example but I doubt I would buy an entire album for it. But they were rawer and more savage back then. They sound too clean and like Pantera or something. :?

Nice try, but that one's too obvious. Only someone who was trying to be a bellend would say that.
