Blimey, more Northfield metallers. We should go out for a beer sometime (although not in Northfield as I've been too scared to enter any of the pubs here as I donlt want to be stabbed). Charlotte and I live on Honiton Crescent, near the old Beeches pub...
Glad you had fun at the show though Dawn. Not sure when you showed up at the Bristol Pear and found it locked... we haven't had the 'No Nu-Metal' slogan on the flyers for about a year so it might have been a really old one from the days when we didn't even run gigs there! Did it have a picture of Fred Durst being eaten by zombies on it?

I'd like to see that, the picture I mean.

I don't think there's any issues between Reanimator and Scruffy Murphys. We just appeal to different people, that's all.
I could really use a drink when I'm through

It was a long time ago! It was the 'no nu-metal' that swung it for me, but perhaps I was having a retarded moment regarding finding the door lol
You guys dont live far from me. Was Charlotte the girl on the door at TMM?I dont drink in Northfield either, the only pub I frequented in my teens was the Stone, but going back there now a few years later I realise what a shit hole it is and full of fucking coke dealers. I usually drink in Harborne, I find the New Inn metal friendly. Other than that, Im in town. Would like to meet for a drink for sure, I would like to start showing up at the Reanimator nights and get to know ppl. I got loads of mates who are metal heads but none of them live in Northfield.

Now that wasnt a bad pub a few years ago. But that's not the one I meant. The New Inn is abit further down, alittle off the high street. They dont play metal, I meant that you get metalheads in there and no trouble, which you cant say for every pub in Harborne. This pub isnt full of chavs and dickheads looking for a fight.

Ahhh I think I know where it is opposite the Green Man? We did a pub crawl there for my mate stag-do... We only ended up going there and the White Swan cause nowhere would let us in.
So to my horror we went to Subculture, I only lasted 1hr and went next door to scruffs.

Yep, that would have been Charlotte on the door at the gig (she got stuck there after Pove got chucked out for chucking up ).
We should make Northfield metal!
