If you get a chance to get on stage tonight, hug the singer from Exodus, he really likes it. If you can't get on stage poke him, he seemed to like that as well!

Had an awesome time at the underworld last night, i really love that venue

Gama bomb were absolutely brilliant, shame they couldn't have played longer, i thought they got a pretty good crowd reaction for the first support band, there could have been more crowd movement but the noise throughout/chants at the end were respectable. I bought a gama bomb shirt, they were selling them for £12, its a quality shirt i'm really pleased with it.

Evile were very tight, i would say i prefer them live to on record (especially for some of the newer songs), the amp problem was inconvienient but they delt with the wait pretty well

Exodus were.... well pretty boring really, i think thats the best way to describe it. It wasn't terrible but they seemed to play a lot of shit new songs, even the tracks from bonded by blood that i watched came across without much energy behind them, i left after about half an hour since it was getting pretty sweaty on the floor and there was no good reason to stay.

I didn't watch Exodus but I could hear them from the bar area and yeah they didn't sound very good at all, the new songs were pretty poor and the songs from Bonded By Blood just didn't sound right.

Worst version of Piranha I've ever heard.

It was a good night, Gama Bomb were the best band of the night for me, followed by Evile second. I want impressed by Exodus but i have never really been a fan and after all it didnt cost me anything for the gig.

Good night in Leeds, cracking sets from all three bands(missed the opening local support, sorry) and it was great to see the place full. Also a pleasure to meet the H.O.D boys, and to see Darkweasel again.
The photo above should have Gary Holt on the right, but the new forums sizing limits have chopped him off!

I was at Leeds last night, great show from all bands.

Here is the setlists

EVILE

First Blood
Thrasher
We Who Are About To Die
Schizophrenia
Bathe In Blood
Enter The Grave

EXODUS

Iconoclasm
Funeral Hymn
A Lesson In Violence
Children Of A Worthless God
Deathamphetamine
Blacklist
Piranha
Metal Command
And Then There Were None
Strike Of The Beast
The Toxic Waltz

I think the order of Exodus is correct, they had a technical problem with the drums after Piranha and had to cut their set short due to having to be off the stage by 11:00.

as i was typing on other topics ive just noticed i still have the stamp on my right hand from the underworld gig 2days ago.
i have bathed since then and do wash my hands after going to toilet(before those jokes start)so its must be a really strong ink.
still i cant be arsed to scrubb my skin away just to get rid of some faded ink.

Top night in Leeds.

The good points:
Discount entry fee

Brilliant turn out for mid week Leeds thrash gig

Our boys beating the yanks in levels of aceness

Meeting H.O.D. chap

No ticket check on train home

The bad points:
£3.50 for a bottle of Newky.

Having some berk trying to put SOAP on me every time I went for a piss.

The strange audio phenominon of Leeds Rio, as when I was stood watching da Bomb it was so quiet. Towards end of their set I stumbled about 2 meters to my left and the volume and clarity just doubled. If your not stood directly in front of the stage the sound is poor there.

The rather harsh headache I had when I got home (karma for not getting ticket).

Shit, I just remembered all the horrible things that happened to me after the London show...

I missed my train so I got a 30 quid (!) cab back and then I got dropped off about a mile from my house because it saved money and I walked almost all the way back and realized that my brand new Gama Bomb shirt which I had round my neck had fallen off! I walked back all the way I had just come, found it lying there looking forlorn so I ran home crying to Jamie.
