warhammer paint pots are a fucking rip off, i remember they used to go up 50 p every month, they are probably like 500 quid a pot now

I think they are one of the more reasonably priced items in the store - £2 per pot, and they last for ages (although they are being raised to £2.25 in October, the total bastards).

my mum runs a craft shop, and she sells all these little pots of paint (like u used to get for airfix models - i presume they are the same???) and they are cheaper than getting them from games workshop. Look around and save some money to spend at thrashing rage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I don't have any problem shopping around for certain things like glue, drills, files, etc. but when it comes to the paints I'd rather stick to the ones designed for Citadel models. I tried to cut corners a few years ago by using this can of black airfix spray, and it ruined my squad because it had a more glossy finish than I was after.
