Talk about all thrash metal.

We all know the War Machine will suddenly be the next 'big thing' for supporting Megadeth though

For literally 5 minutes.

If Seregon or Evile were at the level to be supporting Megadeth, they'd have already done it through being asked by the band or their management. Simple as.

Just like Thine Eyes Bleed on the last Unholy Alliance tour. Not even being related to Tom Araya could help sustain any prolonged interest.
Diamond Head on the last Megadeth were old enough to know better though. A poor reminder of their old selves, they showed themselves up to be virtually a tribute band covering their own songs.

Erm.. they were called... Priestess was it?

Bah they weren't that bad, they were just stoner southern rock or whatever. I only really remember them from that silly drum solo..

I guess these thing's happen, would of been good to see Evile on the lineup.

In other words, another great victory for the "It's not what you know but who you know" brigade then.

Here's Warmachine.
http://www.myspace.com/warmachine

They have some nice riffs but the only hints of thrash come at the intros of songs and thats only if your really desperate. The music itself is kind of power/progressive but the production sounds way to modern for me and lacks balls. The vocals lack power for me and sometimes even remind of Disturbed which aint good. I thought Betrayed was a Disturbed song at first. Evile shit all over these guys.

Well, it looks like they did it!
I just checked on Megadeth's website and it reads for every support slot on the UK tour:

EVILE
JOB FOR A COWBOY

Regardless of whether you think Evile should've participated in such a thing or not, personally I think it's great news.

Good news for Evile, it's sad that it should be a surprise that the UK's most prominent thrash band manage to get a good thrash support slot.
