Has anyone heard of this thing? I stumbled across it through gumtree.com. http://www.swoopo.co.uk/
I thought it looked lovely at first, the chance to buy a PS3 for 20 quid or something, but then I signed up and saw that you have to pay 50p for a single bid on an item, and that the countdown increases every time a bid is made (you just press the 'bid' button and it goes up by 10p, rather then in ebay where you bid in your maximum joy). And you can only buy bids in bundles, the minimum being £10 for 20 bids. The thing is, all the items on there are really, REALLY cheap.
What do you think? A nice scheme, or complete rip-off? I'm too scared to try it, imagine if I paid for a bundle, and ran out of bids just before the end or something. But it's an offical sponsor of gumtree, so it must be genuine and nice. I don't know.
ALL I WANT IS A BLOODY PS3 BUT I HAVE NO MONEY WAAAAAAAA!!!!!
Swoopo.co.uk, anyone?

I am not really sure Jon, i think you'll have to guinea pig it yourself.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

its probably all completely legit, but you have to spend money on bidding alone.. and think how many people are bidding... the numbers wont crunch
