Got my guitar delivered to me today. I know fuck all about guitars, only it's a white Flying V and it's quality makes it great for beginners apparently. Only cost me £47 with an amp as well

I'm not really interested in taking it seriously at the mo, just gives me something to do while I have 2-3 months of my Summer holiday still to go before I;m back at uni. One of my housemates plays guitar as well, so when we both move into our house many jamming sessions will be had once I get better

On Monday I will (Gods permitting) take delivery of my new PC

Custom-built on a budget of a grand, these are the specs for those who care:

CPU - Intel Core2Quad Q6600 2.66GHz
RAM - OCZ Reaper HTC PC2-8500 (1066MHz)
HDD - 750GB SATA-II Samsung SpinPoint (my main data drive, with my current data drive ( a 320GB Maxtor) being moved to the main OS drive)
Motherboard - ASUS P5Q-Pro (Intel P45 chipset, 4 RAM slots)
Graphics - Sapphire ATI HD4870 512MB (ATI's newest flagship card - beats the nVidia GTX260 and it's cheaper)
CPU Cooling - Arctic Freezer 7 Pro (temporary solution while I wait for next month's paycheque so I can watercool the bastard)
Monitor - 22" widescreen HannsG (1680x1050) with HDMI input - will be replacing one of my 17" TFTs (so the new setup will be 1 x 22" and 1 x 17")
DVD Drives - 1 x Blu-Ray/DVD-RW and 1 x DVD-RW (both SATA-II drives)
Case - Coolermaster Cosmos S
