WHYTE ASH (ex-Burning Saviours)

Postby blacktears on Tue Feb 10, 2009 12:20 am

I guess most of you have heard of Burning Saviours from Sweden, who split up just over a year back. Their music had a massive early 70s vibe, in the vein of fellow countrymen like Witchcraft & Graveyard.

Here's their new band, which came as quite a surprise when I heard it. However, actually it is pretty damn good stuff in an 80s Power Metal vein. For people that like Ram & Enforcer, this will be for you. The 3 tracks from the promo are also downloadable for free from the band's website

I really liked Burning Saviours. Their first album was insane. Not that keen on the third album though. The riffs were tight but the singer was a bit dodge.

So, what do you think of Whyte Ash in comparison?

I can't access myspace at work and don't have a computer at home. I hope they are tasty.
