Just finished reading it. The Kill 'em All piece is extremely standard stuff. Absolutely nothing in there you wouldn't already know unless you only got into Metallica last week.
The Chuck Billy interview is quite good. Again, nothing new but he just comes across a nice, amiable chap.

As I thought. I'll save myself a few quid.

Iain you can sign up to hear the new album before it's finished, Atom posted a link last week.

I think that's ok, considering Martin just broke the sacred law with an unsupported negative statement.

Shocking behaviour. James! Delete thread!

I haven't bought MH for ages. I have stopped being a regular purchaser of Terrorizer too. However, I saw in their letters that Relapse Records deny something Steve Austin said. Can anyone tell me what that is about?

I think Metal Hammer is getting better, the Chuck Billy,Dio and Metallica features ae pretty good. They also did another thrash metal cd last month.Terrorizer on the other hand is going from bad to worse under their new editor. Its getting more like a indie magazine every month.Last months issue had Boris on the cover plus a 5 page spread,Testament and Death Angel got one page each!Thats just bullshit !We need the return of...Metal Forces! Now that was a great mag, still got 'em all in the loft!!!

Yeah, Relapse Records denied that they were as Austin said "A bunch of stupid, salad eatin', milk drinkin' pieces of trash" They went on to say that they disagreed that it was 'the bottom line' merely because he said so.

MH praised the new Iron Maiden compilation, which according to them includes the classic 'Children of the Beast'. I think in all the reviews I've read of that so far, Terrorizer have been the only one who had the balls to give it 2 out of 10 for being a shameless whore device and a completely pointless release, no matter how much bloody Rod Smallwood tries to justify it. And they still talked about how great Maiden are in the review, so that's nice.

I can't tell if you're lying. Oh as I've typed this I've just realised what you've done. Very fucking clever  =D> . Does anyone really know? ( just looked at the letter to see if it referred to the 'bottom line' at all. )

I subscribe to metal hammer and it hasn't turned up yet, bet some fuckwit has robbed it. I like the death metal section at the back. Different textured paper n' all that jazz.
