I'm a bit sceptical with that review...surely it's not ALL good.

There must be some bads bits on the record.

Maybe I'm just a pessimist but they're brown nosing Megadeth a bit too much with that review and it seems a bit suss.

But then again, hopefully it IS that good.

they did give Death Magnetic and Heaven and hells new album the same brown nosing treatment and well...its up 2 you to decide what they were like.

They have the one writer for MH who is proper bumming this new album, he recons its as good as rust in peace and the second best ever, making it better then Killing/Peace Sells/So good/ and countdown... i personally refuse to belive that it is better then any of those albums, it is impossible.

It can be good, but will never EVER be able to make an album that was more relevant, impressive, aggressive, important etc...as those albums were at the time and still are today. Those albums are all classics now because they have been amazing and each album has impressed for over 20 years.

I think it will be better then Sytem and UA and it can be as cool as Rust in peace and peace sells but it wont and cant ever be better then those albums.

Just like Metallica wont ever be able to write a better album then Ride and Master...the bands arnt the same they used to be, old rockers dont write songs the same way that they used to.

‘Endgame’ not only has a claim to be the best Megadeth album for over a decade (quite an achievement after how good ‘United Abominations’ was), in a year chocked full of awesome albums, ‘Endgame’ is 2009’s best.

They thought UA was good... Sooooo, i dont trust this review in the slightest. But i dont trust much in metal hammer as they think Amon Amarth and Children of Bodom are the best bands ever.

Metal Hammer? I wouldn't trust them. According to them Lamb Of God's latest is the greatest metal album of this generation.

Yeah, I was just about to say that about the Heaven and Hell album, they did a ridiculous track-by-track preview that completely bummed it, got me really excited, so I bought the album and found out that it was really bloody boring.

You won't fool me again Metal Hammer! YOU BASTARDS!!

I still remember Immortalicide's story that he was told to give Machine Head a good review because the label was pumping loads of cash into promoting it... that sums it up really - fuck the glossy press!

Yeah, that shit happens all the time, as was revealed to me on't Evile tour, not that it was a surprise at all, I just never knew it for sure, but now I do. I heard a story about a writer from Kerrang who wrote a bad review for something, then when he read it in the mag it had been completely changed. What unbelievable bullshit! Saying that, Kerrang gave the new Heaven and Hell album 2 Ks, which was quite honest of them, so fair play for that one.

that new megadeth song i really really like now, it grew on me and the more i listened the more it reminded and sounded like old megadeth stuff especially vocals n stuff. could have done with being more technical or bluesy/funky how megadeth used to do stuff in the old days but well see when the album comes out

..Yeh but.. I'd rather just listen to the old albums in the first place.

I just want to see them progress and make the most of Broderick.

Here's the new artwork.

I really like it actually. Apart from the border of flies, if that wasn't there, I think it would look pretty amazing for a modern piece of joy. It's quite terrifying and looks pretty cool!

Looks cheap, Evile's new artwork RAPES it. Why don't the old bands have cool art any more?
