Perhaps I will... Though my thrash collection isn't that vast, so this is probably the best one I own anyway. Although I'm not going to be too hasty to declare it, because I love Eternal Nightmare very, very much!
But yes indeed, I know what you mean, I'm on the 9th track now, and every single song has been brilliant. I can't pick out a single one that's stood out as they're all so great. And the thing that always kind of ruined Slayer a little bit for me was that I always found Tom Araya's vocal style hilarious, especially on Reign In Blood. It added to the intensity and it was great, but, for example, I can't listen to Jesus Saves without laughing at the speed of his vocals every time. But on Show No Mercy they're just brilliant and vicious and the screams are fantastic, and it's not hilarious at all, it's just brilliant. What a shame they have become such a mediocre thrash band.
