Michael Jackson

Postby jonny_boy34 on Sat Sep 27, 2008 11:12 pm

I've been on a nostalgic trip of wonder tonight, seeking out the 5 tracks from the Blood on the Dancefloor album that was half great new songs and half rubbish remixes from the HIStory album. What great times of my childhood they were! This song is amazing:

And so is this one ('Is It Scary'):

And this one ('Ghosts'):

There were two other tracks on the album called Supafly Sister and Morphine, I remember them being good also, I shall seek them out next. Whilst not as good as his classic period of greatness, I have a wonderful fondness for these tracks, it reminds me of being 11 years old and having a lovely time. I bloody love Michael Jackson. Invincible was rubbish though.

I'm just listening to Morphine and it's brilliant so here's that clip as well:

The way he goes "OOOOH!" at 4.07 is hilarious and amazing. And the bit before it is also hilarious. "Oh my oh god it's Demerol! Heeee!"

Micheal jackson is one of my favorite artists ever, it is just too good in places.
See Speed Demon for details.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

I would happily breed with the most horrid women, have a child, and hand that child over to Michael, if he'd promise to make an album as good as Bad again.

I also agree. Man In The Mirror is one of the best songs ever written, truly. I used to listen to it a million times a day as a young boy. And Smooth Criminal, I mean for gods sake, who the hell could come out with a song that good in pop music these days? Also, Dirty Diana is a heavy metal classic. Brilliant.

I thought Dangerous was mostly amazing too. Give In To Me (featuring Slash) is also up there with my fave Jacko songs.

The chorus of Smooth Criminal is making me want to cry with utter amazingness and joy right now. I'm so glad I decided to stay in tonight and listen to Michael Jackson.

I personally love the bass the most in that song, MJ's songs have amazing bass for the most part.

Does anyone remember the song 'Leave Me Alone'? I have it as a bonus track on my Bad album, it was the last song of the first half of the Moonwalker film where he rides around on a weird boat rollercoaster thing with his monkey, it's absolutely amazing.
