Essentially, my band is supposed to be recording April 7th, 8th and 9th. We had our 'friend' filling in on the drumstool for awhile but we've been trying to get in touch with him for about a fortnight an we just cant reach him. This blows because we've spent about 6 months planning this recording, and we were all real psyched for it. Not only that but its so close to the recording date and the records been hyped up a shitload so we really don't wanna disappoint.

So if anyone on here plays drums and is from Sheffield/Rotherham area, do me a favour and contact me? Any payment can be negotiated, and you'd only ben needed on April 5th, 6th and 7th (possibly 8th too if the drums tracks don't get done in time).

Playing a style similar to that of Annihilator, Coroner, Sepultura, Evile, Testament etc.

Welcome to having a band, we all need drummers.

Drummers are hard to come by. I have played drums for 5 years, but Guitar is my main instrument, so if i was biggered for a drummer on a record, id do it myself.

If it worst comes to worst, surely you could just punch in some electronic drums? You can get really realistic drum sounds these days.
