abit of advice

Postby meluaz on Mon Oct 06, 2008 5:50 pm

some guy told me to join his thrash/death band, which i wouldnt normally but i am desperate so i would settle for anything, one thing that startled me is that he said 'we have a huge hardcore influence'. personally from what i have heard hardcore is very shit music and it is really putting me off joining, watu u guys think?

Zurab is being a good man here, just stop it, and take your own advice for yourself....

zurab, drop the fucking ego mate, its not like you are doing any better by yourself is it. Have a listen, and see if you can get some experience from them. God, your hardly lowering yourself are you, you havent even managed to do anything on your own yet. Fucks sake.................................

He does kind of have a point, he had a fair few offers.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

Can't beat a bit of experience. It'll sort you out for when you're in a band you really want to play with.

I don't know - I've been roped into playing in a ton of bands whose shit I absolutely hated. It taught me how to weasel my way out of things but that's about it.

I can't picture you being one having to weasel out of things. Thought you'd be pretty blunt enough to say they're shit and leave.
