Thrash vs Glam

Postby Bludvera_Mike on Mon Apr 19, 2010 12:53 am

For probobly the first time ever, Thrash versus Glam, this will take place on the 9th of July in Warrington town center in a venue called the Lounge.

Bands consist of Xcelerator and Bludvera, maybe another 4 more bands to be announced but it maybe only another 2 due to the time limit on the venue as they're are only aloud to play live music until a certain time, but if any thrash bands want to support Bludvera on the thrash side, please reply asap.

Each band will be given a 40 minute time limit, all members must be over the age 18 and I.D. will be required on the door. So if any of you have fans who appear to look under 21 then they must bring I.D.

Also there will be a resident DJ who will take requests for the night, this will be a one night only chance so everbody get ready for the biggest battle in music history... Well maybe not the biggest but certainly one of them.

For details on venue info contact me on this email: evilshredder0666@live.co.uk
and i will get back to you as soon as possible.

Bands will be required to bring there own equipment such as: guitars, amps, drum breakables (sticks, cymbals, snares, symbal stands, kick pedals, leads etc.) for those who lack equipment we could sort something out for you guys, amps maybe available, a house kit will also be available.

That was when stuff like that was awesome. Theres no "versus" in this, just 2 genres playing together who will probably hug and kiss after the show. Sad times :(

I'm afraid that Paul Gilbert, Billy Sheehan and George Lynch say that they do Tom.

Don't think it's a competition dude, it's just 2 genres of music playing together. Reason I think this gig was put together was because our guitarist is mates with a Glam band so he thought it would be a good idea to put a gig on, so that we could play with them but obviously the idea came "Thrash vs Glam" so I'm guessing there's probably going to be another Thrash band playing and another Glam band playing, so anyone who can be assed playing Warrington on this forum can apply to play the gig with us.
