Yep, I remember once at a pub i worked at a while ago, I was talking to the chef about Iron Maiden, and she said to me "You'll grow out of it soon," because apparently she did when she was younger. Man, some people just really don't get it.

I think 'growing out of it' is a bit of shit thing to say really when concerning music. My tastes have changed, but I'm not above listening to Slayer now and again. Music's music, at the end of the day. I can't picture myself moshing some cunt and giving it the metal horns at a gig (to be honest, I don't even do that now), but it's not to say I can't sit in the comfort of my own home and put some Napalm Death on and go a bit mental.

I be 32 tomorrow…32. I feel the power of Metal growing stronger within me everyday. Only the weak fall by the wayside. I often turn to them and offer them help. I do not hate them as it is not their fault. They have given up because of the pressure that Heavy Metal brings.

I have just purchased War Metal Battle Master by Lair Of The Minotaur. I think that is something everyone should do on the eve of their 32 birthday.

I offer my hand to this person who has given up on metal. I offer him a free Heavy Metal seminar or my locally ‘Famed’ Stoner rock seminar. They are free and all you have to bring is a bucket and some crappy solids.

I never even read the BFMV threads, so don't know what all the fuss is about..

Basically some guy pretended to be a BFMV fan, and people initially claimed their distaste for the band, but still acted amicably towards him, and even gave suggestions of proper thrash bands. He then sprung the news that he was a 'troll' and 'did it for the lulz' as if no-one had ever read Encyclopedia Dramatica or heard of 4chan. Anyways, it was a bit pointless since people were actually pretty nice to him, which made it quite lame, and since he didn't really manage the internet definition of being a troll, one can only assume he was admitting to us that he lived under a bridge.

There wasn't even really a fuss, Dethhead just wanted an arguement with plodman or something and got his mate to come troll the board saying he likes BFMV and shidz. Wow guys, that troll really showed us and was really, really irritating....
