anyway the whole fall thing in general surely fall should mean at the start of a year/when the new year hits ie:when 2009 "falls" upon us.bloody yanks.
Fall is, indeed, the height of American gayness. However, I do also get the urge to punch people in the face if they use the word 'autumnal' , especially when talking about things other than the weather.
