As a rough guess for bands.... Who's in?
I'd be looking at getting 250 CD's made, asking for bands to chip in for the distribution then passing you CD's back to sell/keep as a return. If you can donate artwork etc then costs would be even cheaper.
Oh, for the mp3 generation.... The deal is that after 3 months of selling this also goes as a free download in a HoD stylee.

Re: UK Thrash Compilation
Ok, Shrapnel & Seregon are good to go blates. I reckon 15 bands should do it.
Been thinking, listened to the whole CD point made and we could make it as a giant zip file with lots of pics & links on & post it all over the show for people to distirubte freely, that way nobody get last track syndorme & we have zero costs bar some artwork.
Submission should be for the end of July for a summer distribution, I'll ask Earache to see if they fancy adding a track or two.
Owzat?

Re: UK Thrash Compilation
We're in. If you'll have us. Although given that deadline, we would have to contribute a track from our first EP. Extend it to the end of the year and we'll have some glittery new recordings to contribute.

In fact, if you're doing things with downloads, why limit it to 15? Double it, mate. Heck, even if there's a physical release, double it! Share the cost further

Assuming it's not going to be super duper duper expensive then you can count Thrashist Regime in for this. If you want us, of course...

sounds great to me, get in touch with the Toranaga guys. They have a new EP coming out in the next few months. Would be good to get them on there if they are interested.
