Due to the fact that there is a regular Free all day thrash gigs in Wakefield now, We have decide to call Full thrash assault a day. It has been fun but there is no reason to continue it. Both me and Luci will be at a few of these gigs enjoying ourselves, people should support the local thrash scene and go to these all dayers.

The dates for thrash town gigs are as follows

31st May
19th July
6th September
31st October
6th December

all these gigs will be held at the jockey in Wakefield

Yea, as Gaz is going to be holding regular thrash gigs in Wakefield, with an all dayer on the same date as we were hoping to hold FTA it just doesn't make a lot of sense to do it this year. It means there'd be a divided crowd which means both gigs and the bands playing will suffer from attendances not being as good as they could be.

I wish Gaz the best of luck with Thrashtown. I'm sure he'll do a good job of it and hopefully bring some more kick ass thrash bands to Wakefield, which is what it's about.

It's a shame I was playing bloody waste stock instead of going to FTA last year!!

FTA 06 was to me a completely eye opening experience, it was the first time i had seen any of the bands and it was an amazing day in general. certainly worth the trip up from london. Such a shame i didn't go to FTA 07, it looked amazing. Dave and Luci have done a good job so far with these events. nice one guys and good luck for the future, hopefully i'll see you at a gig somewhere!!

Maybe Gaz could take the reigns of the next FTA... would that be allowed? have an extra special day at the Jockey in hour of FTA 08...

Ooo, you're all heart!

Hopefully one day we might be able to resurrect FTA, but it would need some serious money up front and a proper sponsor to give us some cash, and get some bigger bands to headline and a bigger venue not in wakey. We wouldn't be bothered about making a profit just money to pay for the big bands.
