Municipal Waste in Sheffield

I'm thinking about travelling up from Mansfield for this on thursday,but I can find out bugger all about the venue the DnR on t'internet.All I can find is a reference to it being the old "Under the boardwalk" is that near where the old Corporation was? Any help would be appreciated.

I can't tell you where the gig will be held, but it definitely won't be at the Dove n' Rainbow, because it's closed down.

Last I knew it was at he "D'n'R Bar" on Arundell Gate. It's just along from Hallam Uni near the Cinema.
Sheffield needs some new pub venue names. The one i think you may be thinking of is "D'n'R Live" which was the old Under The Boardwalk, but that closed down about a year ago and re-opened as... Under The Boardwalk :doh:

Also as Martin said Dove n' Rainbow shut down, so I think it'll be at this new fangled D'n'R Bar place. Hope that helped in some way! I wanted to go to that gig but I've no way of getting back

Dove n' Rainbow is a different place to D 'n'R Bar but I'm guessing that has also shut down now too. Can't keep up with the goings on, all I know is they need some different venue names!

I had a look on the earache website,and they now say the casbah as well,although most other places still reckon it's this DNR bar rubbish.How much of a crowd are they expecting if it's this hard to even find out where a chuffing band is playing.So is this Casbah in the middle of Sheffield then? I know where the Corporation is,and I've been to the Leadmill a few times,but I don't know it that well.

It's about 10 minutes from the station, look it up on Google Maps
