Grindhouse is a total con. Terrorizer get 25% of the door money, as does the Grindhouse 'agent' (some local who is the middleman between the promoter and the magazine), as does the promoter, and the band get 25%. Meagre. Bands also have to bring a certain amount of people, at least from what I've heard about the Birmingham gig. I can't believe any promoter or band would want to be involved in such a con. Promoters should boycott it, and organise gigs themselves, and between themselves. I can't see Terrorizer sponsorship, and a meagre amount of advertising, making that much difference to gig entrances.
