My friend was reading this week's NME in WHSmiths and he came across a page that had the word THRASH written in big spiky letters on it. Upon further inspection I found that it was saying how thrash is back and all the guys in Hadouken and CSS (who?) listen to Slayer and Metallica!
As well as Municipal Waste and some other thrash bands, the article also featured Gama Bomb and Evile!! Wow, its gone all mainstream now! What next, a UK Thrash feature in Smash Hits?
UK Thrash in NME!

I always thought "NME" was quite a clever acronym.

Speaking of "Thrash" specials, the Total Guitar one was totally shit. It promised a load of songs tabbed in the previous issue and what do we get a three page load of bollocks talking about things that everyone already knows.
Then a fucking big article about Prince! FFS

Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

They probably only had an article on thrash, cos most thrashers wear tight jeans. CSS are shit by the way. I had the misfortune of seeing them once.

The band 'The Enemy' are actually really good. Just slag everyone off like.
No. I'm sure it's the same for you, but being at uni, nearly everyone is a complete indie rem-end. These type of bands completely suck bollocks so much.

I don't really pay attention to Indie, I just listened to them on recommendation and their songs were good. Same goes for the Arctic Monkeys. I don't know anything about Indie at all.

I hate Arctic Monkeys simply because they were so over-played on Radio 1 during the 2 weeks I did a warehouse job.
I hadn't actually realized how much radios plug and plug and plug the current "in" bands. Fucking hell, no wonder they are doing so well!
