For those who were at the Glasgow Thrash Bash will remember the invention of a new sport entitled "Moshball", short hand for "Cunts being ridiculous with an American Football". Anyway, we've had a con-flab and decided to organise the first ever "Glasgow Moshball invitational". This is a legitimate sporting event with trophies, prizes and actual teams diving their way into the history books.

It will be in January (hopefully the weekend of the 14th) at the Admiral Bar and bands to feature include Citizen Death, Circle of Tyrants, Kritikill Mass, Necropolis and 15 Times Dead. As well as an overall team prize based on the genuine Moshball rules, we will have individual prizes for best and worst stagedivers as well as a "band award" for the band with the most rabid fans. All categories will be decided along the old Robot Wars categories of "Style, Damage, Control and Aggression".

And the London massive from GTB I are cordially invited to take up the challenge.

We totally need an English contingent up for this, just to up the ante a little and spur us on a bit more.

There is a fuckton of stuff we want to do for this. My friend's fashioned an American Football costume out of Beer boxes. We're also bringing dinghys and boogie boards.

Uuugh, I'd like to come up for this but it's just such a long way, and I'm hoping to make it up for GTBII, so I'm probably gonna have to miss this one.
