Orion SUCKS! If I wanted to hear a waltz I'd listen to Strauss, not Metallica! Favourite instrumental off the top of my head would probs be Last Entertainment or something. I much prefer Thrash with vocals.

I said it once, and I'll say it again: Testament - Musical Death (A Dirge). The only Testament song I like.

I used to think Orion was crap, but I recently gave MoP another listen to review it, and I now think it's one of the better points of the album.
Though I still can't see what's so stunning about the bass guitar in that track.

Check out 6:35 for a totaly awesome bit of bass playing, its not just widdling, its really well structured and thought out. CLIFF BURTON!
I thought it was a guitar solo for ages!

That's bass? I still hear bass in the background, though I guess they just recorded over it. Well that is quite cool

thats incredably unfair, orion isnt really a thrash track but its still amazingly written, good fun to play too
