Re: Console Gaming
you can mod a ps2 memory card to let you play copied ps1 games? thats pretty awesome. dont you still need a ps1 memory card to save the games though?

FF7 was £44.99 originally so £30 is a bargain considering its playability of 70+ hours across 3 discs.
look at it as £10 a disc.
its money well spent Zurab. i have both the original and platinum versions mainly coz i accidentally scratched disc 2 of the original.
i bought the platinum version for around £30 on ebay coz when i was playing the original the other year, disc 2 kept skipping.
but yeah,FF7 is still a great gaming experience.and still holds its own against modern games.
besides,if you have a ps3 or xbox 360 you are probably used to buying games for £35-£45 so...

Re: Console Gaming
If you have a psp or ps3 you can download FF7 off the PSN for like £7 might be worth it in the long run.
I am making a new rig specfically for watching tv episodes on my lcd tv and playing old school retro games.
Most I ever paid for a game off ebay is Star Ocean : The Second Story on the ps1 quality game better then FF7 in some ways.
Got it for £15 shipped from America just before people got smart with rare rpgs and started to profit off them.

Yeah I've got em all duder there killer, I've always liked the old Snes rpg's that made it on to the ps1.
You wont regret Star Ocean its killer and there are a stupid amount of endings in the game because of everything you can do.

Speakin of Final Fantasy VII, I'm on disc 3 now. On my 74965859368638th playthrough
But I now remember why I fucking hate chocobo breeding. I know what I need to breed a gold chocobo and I have everything in order, yet the fuckers won't plop one out!! I'll sell them to KFC instead, useless fucking things are about as good at breeding as dead pandas.

Re: Console Gaming
Oh fucking hell, I remember how much the chocobo breeding pissed me off. Endless resetting of the console for a million hours because the bloody game just decided it didn't ever want to randomly give me a gold chocobo. But, the wonderful satisfaction you get when you FINALLY get a gold one, then go off to get Knights of the Round... mmmmmmm.....

Re: Console Gaming
I keep getting either wank regular chocobos or black ones. Stupid fucking birds.
Though it's not my quickest, this is certainly my best playthrouh yet. Mastered two Enemy Skill materia (somehow!) and I've got almost all the materia in the game, except a very small few (namely Knights of the Round), all Lv.4 Limit Breaks, all ultimate weapons etc. etc. Though I will admit that I took advantage of the W-Item glitch hahaha.
God I love this game. I just fucking hate chocobo breeding.

Re: Console Gaming
Finally got my Gold Chocobo though, and pwned Joe and that Teioh motherfucker of a chocobo in the races. I think I'm only issing one Materia in the entire game now (Sneak Attack, not counting Master Summon). I've been playing aout 60 hours, here's to 60 more levelling everyone up and generally being fucking awesome.
Then I'll do it all over again God I fucking love Final Fantasy VII so much.
