What a swindle. Seriously, I don't like the idea at all; why do his family qualify for charity that hardly anyone in there would have doled out to loads of other bereaved families, just because their lost loved-one happened to play in a metal band? Also, I don't see how any amount of money is such a great gesture - it certainly wont replace the memory of Vitek, and I doubt that his passing had any urgent financial impact.

I'm not trying to sound cold-hearted, I just think it is a pretty stupid scheme which I don't really see a big benefit to, and it seems a bit like a move by Earache to show how much they 'care' about their clients and the metal scene.
