I had some mead at a beer festival last year and it was amazing so after some searching I found this cool site:

http://www.lindisfarne-mead.co.uk/

Its such a fucking good drink, anyone else ever had this mighty ancient beverage?

If you're into mead I suggest you try Moniack Mead. Its the nicest stuff I've ever had (in this country anyway) and its fucking powerful stuff to

You can get it in crates direct from the brewery, but if you only want one or two bottles you can get it at http://www.getwhisky.com/acatalog/Liqueurs.html

True drink of warriors and shambling drunkards worldwide!

Yeah, I second the Moniack recommendation. We've got two bottles of it at home to get into at some point. :rockdevil:

I got a bottle from the Battle of Hastings re-enactment, it was only a fiver for a fairly big bottle, and it tasted awesome!!

Next time we're out, we should forget the beer and all bring along some mead hahaha

If I'm not mistaken the Darkthrone track "I En Hall Med Flesk Og Mjød" means something like "In a Hall With Flesh/Meat and (or Flask of?) Mead" :rockdevil:
