I had some mead at a beer festival last year and it was amazing so after some searching I found this cool site:

i know jamie, our drummers brother likes mead. He drink its out of a Horn for the ultimate experience. Ive still not tried it tho

I got a bottle from the Battle of Hastings re-enactment, it was only a fiver for a fairly big bottle, and it tasted awesome!!

If I'm not mistaken the Darkthrone track "I En Hall Med Flesk Og Mjød" means something like "In a Hall With Flesh/Meat and (or Flask of?) Mead"
