They're just rocking as hard as they ever were, playing the same three chords in a different way because that's what they do, and they do it so well. It's a great fun song with passion and rocks to the maximum mother, and gives me a right old fun time. Metallica have no idea what to do anymore, and even if they do it really doesn't sound like they know how to do it. I will see them live for a ruddy fun time, but what I've heard off the new album has killed the little hope I had for new Metallica. It's not the worst thing in the world, but it really does sound like they just don't know what sounds good any more. In my opinion, anyway. I don't know, I just can't be bothered at all for the three songs or all the other clips I've heard so far, it's just boring and passionless and has no direction. The solos have all been rubbish and just sound like they're there because they weren't there on St Anger, the drums are played like a retard, the riffs have nothing special about them whatsoever, and the vocals are OK I suppose. I could be wrong, but I think I've heard enough to realise what this album's going to be, and that is another big bloody disappointment.
