What would you give it?

I reckon I'd give it 3. My personal rating would be 2, but if I was writing for a mag I'd have to take it as an individual album and not compare it to earlier goodness and basically be a professional reviewer and therefore give it a 3. But if I was honest, a 2. But there are some good bits. But there are some rubbish bits and it's all quite annoying.

Actually, I've changed my mind, I'll just give it a 2. Unfortunately I already voted for a 3 though. Shit.

Having said that,I suppose that makes me perfectly qualified to review it for kerrang.So,er...KKK then.

Kerrang will probably give it 5 K's and claim that it sounds almost exactly like their 1st album Master the Lightning of Justice, I'd give it 2 out of 5. Because it's not very good.

KKKK: Brilliant effort, lads. Keep putting out albums like this but, in future, use a better producer. You can use Bob Rock and not feel obliged to go to therapy and so forth. Oh and get a fucking decent lead player.

I didn't actually mean for you to imagine you were a Kerrang! hack, I simply wanted you to use the best rating system in metal. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

I've only heared 2 songs off it. One of them was ok, and the other was shite. The one with the soldiers in the music video is fucking wank. Really wank. I couldn't believe how shit and boring that song was.

I gave it 2, because it's better than Saint Anger (didn't listen to that though), but worse than any of their albums that deserve 3...

I'm not going to listen to it. I'll trust my instincts and give it 2!

I give it KKKK. It isn't exactly what I was hoping for but it is a very good record. I only find fault with one track, the unforgiven III. The ropey production isn't bothering me that much either. Highlights for me are Judas Kiss, All Nightmare Long and Cyanide.
