i cant stand eddie murphy.not in a racist way coz i have wayans stuff/katt williams/chris rock etc etc.
i tried/watched the first few mins of that film years ago because i wanted to see about how similar jackie Chans 'The Medallion'' was to it(as Medallion had pretty much stolen the concept according to reviews etc) .on watching the golden child, the best thing was the funky music and the intro.it was cool/promising and really 80s action/comedy but just a shame about eddie murphy being in it so i had to give up on it.
eddie murphy is the US equivalent of lenny henry in my opinion.

Re: Film Thread mk.II
I watched Time Crimes the other day a lovely little film
Hector is an ordinary man who's moving to a new house with his wife. One evening, while he's looking through his binoculars, he sees a naked girl in the woods. He decides to go there just to find that same girl laying on a rock. Suddenly, a man with a pink bandage covering his face, stabs Hector in his arm with scissors. Then a chase starts, leading Hector to a time machine that brings him back nearly an hour in the past. The man in charge of the time machine explains to Hector (Hector 2) that he must not interfere with the other Hector (Hector 1) so he can go into the time machine again. Things complicate, and Hector 2 is hit by a car, injuring his face. To stop the bleeding, he covers his face with a bandage that turns into pink because of the blood. Then Hector 2 realizes he has to stab Hector 1 and chase him to the time machine in order to make things right.

Yeah Eddie Murphy seems to be like Marmite (no, that's not racist, shut up fagmobiles). I find some of his 80's movies really funny, but as soon as he started starring in movies about talking dogs I gave up.

Eddie Murphy used to be amazing, but now he's rubbish. And I'm racist.

I just watched Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter, while it didn't quite live up to the glorious title it was still a laugh. The fight scenes were so badly done, it was fantastic. I urge everyone to give it a watch, preferrably in a room full of friends in an altered state of mind.

I still maintain that Snitch'd is the worst-yet-somehow-best film ever
