yeah we were talking about funding it through gig/album/band adverts and general donations too. We're considering doing a colour run and a black and white run. the b+w will be printed en mass, put on the internet, handed out at gigs, given to people to hand out etc. the colour one will be restricted to a few copies and will be for people who buy a single issue on the internet (and we send it by post), or who 'subscribe' for a year or whatever. it'll probs be a few quid for that we think. printing costs should be low as we plan on using public laser printers

Nice idea, apart from the fact that if it gets to a 10 page zine that would mean it is costing me 50p each item i send out, plus the extra postage, which may sound really tight arsed of me, but i am not one of these ebayers who charge £4 to send an lp, i charge cost price, and i really dont make a lot from ebay anymore anyway...........unless maybe you want to start buying some stuff from me
