Ace when people argue about which band is better, never got the point in it myself.
As for nu-metal, like everything, theres some good some bad.

I agree, they are too heavy for nu-metal!! Tracks such as people=shit and disasterpiece are pure thrash songs really, although they are in the minority on each album.
I like Rammstein, are they what you would class as nu-metal?? I don't really, same with Otep, i love them but they are waaaaay to heavy for nu-metal.

Incidentallly though, this song ruuuules!
That isn't Glam you fool!
I hate that song!!!! It is rather glam aswell, and quite gay...
Iain, I think you need a lie down after all your pro-KISS loving..
C'mon man, you can't just post on every fucking thread about KISS or, if someone posts slagging off KISS, why not just ignore it?? They aren't the best band ever, and most people on this forum think they're shite..
This IS a THRASH forum after all!

How can it be Glam? They're not even wearing eye-liner... You can't just use the word 'Glam' interchangeably for things you don't like the way you can with the word 'Gay'.
If you're qualifying this forum as a 'Thrash' forum then people have as little right to talk about Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Death Metal here as I do to talk about KISS and W.A.S.P.

How is that video homoerotic?
They're playing to hoards of horny women and the band members actually smile.
Screaming women + smiling /= homoerotic

So what? And no.
It was 1987; I think it's a bit much of any one on here to comment on their dress sense. Give it 19 years and I'm sure myself and many others here'll be saying:
'God, I cannot believe I thought denim, leather and long hair looked good!'

no way man. denim, leather and hair has been the staple fashion diet for rock and metal since the 60s. Dressing in drag has always been gay.

Wait, back up a bit. I don't get where the drag comment came from. When did KISS dress in drag?
And yes way, I can't think of many people who have consistently worn denim and leather for over 20 years. Even Maiden look like they go to Top Man these days.

I've worn denim and leather for almost 30 years!!! Occasionally it has been washed too, and to be honest i only wear jogging pants and casual sports stuff. You know, when i got married i had to buy a suit and it was the first suit i'd purchased since i'd left school 12 years earlier and at that time i didnt own a single pair of shoes, just trainers!! I really dont do clean cut very well, im a scruffy bastard and always have been and intend to always be so!!!

TBH though, Maiden and Priest are among the forefathers of thrash!! KISS never had a massive infleunce on the thrash sound, also, those other bands are talked about in seprate threads, as opposed to just posting in a thread about another band saying 'this band is shit, KISS are better' sort of thing...
