What I've heard, I've heard on Youtube. I love Motorhead, don't get coarse!!

ok ok ok, sorry - i'm just having a humorous time here. no hard feelings, just enjoy this for the sheer hilarity of it all.

so i am really struggling trying to make a top 10 as... i don't honestly know if i even own or have properly heard 10 albums from this year... especially not 10 that are worthy. so, here is my top 7 - but in no particular order.

Wolf People - Steeple
oOoOO - oOoOO EP
Ghost - Opus Epynomus
Enforcer - Diamonds
Electric Wizard - Black Masses
Ecoli - Swarm on the Swine EP
Elephant9 - Walk the Nile

i feel like there is probably some glaring omissions here somewhere, but really i could give you a very accurate top ten of albums from 1969, 1970, 1971 or 1972... or a top ten of nwobhm singles from 1979,1980 or 1981... just from what i've been listening to this year. not that i have tried to ignore what is going on at the moment, i just have too much catching up to do from the 70s and early 80s that will probably last me a life time, until i build a time machine and live happily ever after. i do suggest listening to all of my top 7 as they are all very good records indeed.

haha, Jamie with the oOoOO ep in there it's hard to take you seriously, you big old hipster salad.

(It is quite good though).
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

hahaha Hipster salad!!

No way, oOoOO is cool man. the trendy bastards might have already claimed this scene as their own, but if you are into electronic music, 80s synth sounds and dark atmospheres - then i strongly suggest having a listen. Glad you know whats what though billy!

Here is number 8 as well, Antichrist (swe) - Put To Death [Demo] - most ripping eeeeeevil thrash of poser slaughtering variety! i thought that this demo was from a couple of years ago, but seems this did actually come out this year. so i'll include it as its amazing.

Well I've seen Antrichrist live, so that's crufts.

I bought both their demo tapes (irrespective of not owning player) and a shirt off the back it.

Lovely boys indeed.

Erm the best album of the year for me is.. ..

Hotter than July... yeah I have no idea.
