Long Live Rock 'n' Roll came to me today in a heavenly cloud of light, and it has truly rocked my face. Kill The King certainly is the best song EVER WRITTEN apart from Go Your Own Way by Fleetwood Mac. And the title track, despite having been heard many times, is still absolutely fucking amazing. Especially the way Dio sings "It's the least that yooouu can doooo!" in the bridge, it makes me want to cry very much!

And Rainbow Eyes, is a delicious, lovely and wonderful piece of music indeed. So absolutely joyous!

I have heard Come Taste The Band before, many years ago, and I remember it being brilliant, but I don't actually remember it. After buying Richie Blackmore's Rainbow, which will happen soon, I will buy this.

Kill The King / Long Live Rock & Roll are two of my favourite songs ever, Dio's voice in LLR&R is PERFECT, and that solo in Kill The King is amazing, especially the middle section of it.

Dio and Blackmore pretty much rule the world because of those two songs.

I've had that album for about ten years and stupidly only earlier this month had a go with the other two Dio/Rainbow albums...

Rainbow are a little like priest, some awesome songs, but most of their albums have a few fillers. Blackmore is also obviously a great guitrist, and even tho he is moe technically adept than iommi, iommi plays with morefeel and soul, therefore he is the better guitarist in y eyes. The dio albums are definately rainbows best, but both bonnett and lynn turner have made some good vocal contributions, but yes, they were less of heavy metal band and more of a rock band on those albums.
