Burial or Cremation?

Postby James on Wed Sep 12, 2012 12:28 am

In the spirit of UK Thrash's slow graveward march, which would be your preferred exit between burial and cremation, and why?

 James' thread of despair

Cremation. Less room needed.

I plan to have my head removed, frozen in liquid nitrogen and shot out of a pneumatic cannon into a concrete wall. There's an optional brass band playing.

This is all dependant of the level of technology/my personal wealth when I go.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Cremation.
Of course, ideally I would have a space burial though.

Cremation, but done Star Wars style, with me dresssed up as Darth Vader. But with Seventh Son of a Seventh Son playing at the same time.

Stuffed. Failing that, the cheapest and most efficient way possible - probably cremation vile black sack on bonfire.

This horde of wealth is a sickening display"

Buried is the way to go for me, ideally under a mountain of naked girls.

If you want to be cremated you're a sick bastard with no morals and likely a paedophile.

Stuffed is also a good option.

Doubly so if I make any sort of worthwhile contribution to science.

The only thing burial has going for it is the chance to leave behind a morbid looking monument for a century or two. Bring back Victorian era mausoleums covered in symbolic carvings which will crumble and be engulfed with ivy!

I would indeed like to be launched into space however.

The problem is with that is the body is very good at absorbing explosions. So you'd potentially make a Harris rocket.

Which would be pretty good.
