I dont understand why people dont want bands to reunite, they think it will ruin the legacy or something but I dont give a fuck, I just wanna see Forbidden!
Me neither man, if it wasnt for the reunions i wouldnt have seen
anthrax (classic line up)
testament (classic line up)
death angel
exodus
heathen
nuclear assault
since most of them are in my top ten im all for it! i like to see the actual people that played back in the day,for me seeing your idols and people who i grew up respecting is part of going to a gig, i mean, i havent seen a bad performance yet but i wouldnt really mind either, i'd rather see that than guys i dont know playing the tunes, thats more like watching a cover band. thats why dave mustaine and friends was'nt that big a deal for me.
Thing is, the Death Angel and Nuclear Assault reunions have been dire at best and the Anthrax and Testament ones are by no means permanent fixtures (anyone reading this about wee Dan going back to fix watches in 2007?). The Exodus reunion is also totally undermining the Heathen reunion and the Heathen reunion has been the best one!
Getting back together for a few gigs is kind of cool but I just don't want to hear Joey Belladonna sing over drop D Pantera riffs.
