what i found, if you turn the distortion to the max the sound goes quite muddy and not that thrash sharp

:shock: Anyone else found here that a mahogany body will drastically alter the sound. Very warm. It makes you have to adjust the settings you're already used to, to combat that warmth... Great loud though, it really carries through.

'cos you loose some of the sharpness needed for attack. It just seems to bassey for me sometimes when I'm recording small ideas with my guitar teacher. I think it really works at high volumes with mahogany.

Well, nice to be original although I can see I've been a moron in previous posts. All I can say is that, get me on metal - great, just have some shit to learn with people. Best to do it here before the gigging really takes off.
