I still own both of Linkin Park's albums, having a massive CD clear out and both of them will be included

I would but I can't. If James reads this thread, please oblige.

In relation to Pantera, implying that KISS are glam is fucking laughable!

'Ride My Rocket'?

Erm, no thanks Glam Panther.

they might have started of as a glam band but then they saw the light re invented themselves and became a decent band. Kiss has always been and will be glam, and gay.

KISS have never been Glam. Do you even know what Glam is? Sod off and actually listen to the first 5 KISS albums. They are no more Glam than Bad Company or Deep Purple. Sure, they wore make-up but then Bob Dylan and Alice Cooper also wore black and white make-up, does this make them Glam? Nothing about KISS' music makes them Glam. KISS went from being Classic Rock to Arena Rock to, very disturbingly, Grunge.

And KISS, gay? Excuse me but how many women has Gene Simmons bedded? Gene is a perfect role model for any red blooded male; excellent business acumen and, apparently, sex appeal.

The fact you say that Pantera became a decent band makes your existence totally pointless. Pantera always sucked regardless of who they were ripping off.

I'm finding the whole anti-KISS rhetoric on this board quite amusing now. In the past 24 hours people have used Chuck Schuldiner and Pantera in their anti-KISS musings. Seeing as Chuck and Dime were two of the biggest KISS fans of all time, I don't see the logic in this.

my point is that you should not be so narrow minded on what people listen to on here, and just to let you know i do own quite a few kiss albums include destroyer and the much slatted dyansty album. You are too easy to wind up. stop getting so upset about what people say about kiss and take it with a pinch of salt. and yes kiss do come under glam rock. i hppen to own seven of their albums. I used to have more on lp before i had to get rid of them. Kiss might have been good in 75 but so was bands like Black Sabbath, Rainbow, Deep Purple, and Alice Cooper (alice cooper did start off as a band). Kiss were not any better than any the mention bands.

Priceless.

Reminds me of a joke where did Geme Simmons go on holiday.

He went to Tampa with the kids.

Metal Iain you come onto a thrash forum and start raving on about a band who no one gives a fuck about on here, you should expect to be flamed when you start slagging metal fans. go back to reading your kiss comics and leave the metal fans to post about relevent stuff. and while you are at it, play with your kiss dolls as well. I am sure you will be very happy. No please go away you are boring me now.

One of the albums I bought was Limp Bizkit's significant other. I thought I was the coolest, most cult kid in school. I am quite ashamed now. My CD collection was awful and it all went right with Pantera onwards. Don't love anywhere near as much as I used to but they are owed a lot.

Come on, Iain, it's alright. KISS are a bit glam aren't they.

I shouldn't be so narrow-minded about what people listen to on here? This is such a double-standard seeing as people, such as yourself, have written me off as a Glam nut despite the fact I listen to very little Glam.

KISS are not Glam. You have totally failed to see the point of KISS despite having payed for their albums. Well done! If you want Glam then listen to Poison or look into New Romantic bands.

I'm sorry but your grammar irritates me:

'Kiss might have been good in 75 but so was bands like Black Sabbath, Rainbow, Deep Purple, and Alice Cooper (alice cooper did start off as a band). Kiss were not any better than any the mention bands.'

I'm sorry but I've met four year olds with a better command of the English language than yourself. Learn English then come back and post something that I can take seriously.

What the fuck are you on?!

I came to this forum as a Thrash fan. Indeed, I have the second highest post-count on this board and, until around December, my faith in Thrash was unshakeable. However, I must have matured... or something. I mean, it's probably exposure to total retards like you that has made me actually question my status as a Thrasher:

'Do I want to be tarred with the same brush as this completely STUPID cocksucker who can barely speak the English language?!'

I mean, I cannot believe you are unable to separate the corporatism involved with KISS and KISS' music. I mean, it's really quite something. I have never bought into the corporatism behind KISS yet I was willing to listen to them with an open mind and give their music a chance. Weirdly enough, I discovered that they did 5 or 6 albums in the 1970s that bettered most of what was being released by their more kosher contemporaries.

Please do yourself a favour and kill yourself. You're, without a doubt, one of the most stupid 'forumers' I've ever had the misfortune of encountering.

This is amazing. I didn't even have to do anything and people are arguing about how rubbish Thrash is. Excellent.
