I think kill em all and ride the lightning is alright,
I actually think Ride is quite good, Nice Raw sound,
but MOP is bad.....

and why dont they remaster Justice? would like to hear it!

The best production job ever is Reign in Blood.

I'd really like to hear AJFO all with some bass guitar in the mix, I think it'd give it a whole new sound. Poor Jason.

Indeed, it is a pretty good mix. Even if it does wig out on occasion.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

It's not a new mix, someone re-recorded the bass section.

I like remasters. The songs on osme of these original albums are flawless but a bad or less then perfect production can make it difficult for me to enjoy them sometimes... until I fuck around with equalizer settings.

This is thrash metal.. not necrokvlt black metal bands haha

I really enjoy Testaments First Strike Still Deadly even though the vocals are more aggressive, I perfer the high notes that Chuck does on The Legacy original like in Over the Wall.

As an old bastard who bought all the originals when they were first released back in the day i gotta say that i love getting re-mastered versions of those classics, the production on a lot of thrash albums was pretty shoddy 20 years ago and now sound very dated, a good re-mastering is needed for a lot of albums, Master Of Puppets could really do with a spring clean, also 'And Justice For All' desperately needs re-mastering...but it also needs completely re-mixed as well, Testament - The New Order is another that could really do with an overhaul as compared to the re-recordings on 'First Strike Still Deadly' they sound pretty dated now.

The Slayer re-masters are fantastic, as are the Toxik, Vio-Lence & Kreator ones, the only ones that disapointed me were the Megadeth re-masters 'So Far So Good So What' being the biggest let down, Mustaine really fucked that one up big style.
So yeah...re-masters are fantastic if they are done properly.

I thought the Rust In Peace remaster was brilliant, I love the sound of the drums on that one. And the AC/DC remasters were fantastic. I've been wanting a remastered/remixed And Justice For All for a long time now, I do love that album but I hardly listen to it because the production makes me want to go to sleep, it's so horrible.
